Concerning a possible Meeting/Reunion for our association this year, we continue to "wait and see" what the Covid-19 and related requirements will be. At the moment, things appear very "ify".
Well, Mother Nature has sure been breaking a few records this month! We hope our fellow shipmates are staying warm and that your power stays on. The Covid-19 issues, may inhibit our having a reunion again for this year too. We will have to just wait and see how things go.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our Life Member 68 on 11/02/2020, USS Kennebec Assoc. Pres./Sec. and fellow shipmate Gary Schlagel, BM3, Aboard 1966-70. Our sincere thoughts and prayers goes his family, friends and to our membership who all suffer from the loss of this good man who was a Patriotic American Veteran.
This has been a tough year to get through with the passing of our Assoc. President, Covid-19, and a now very delayed verification of our 2020 Election. We will not know for sure who our next official President will be for several weeks without Voter verification that requires a few state recounts, and perhaps some court battles. And due to Covid-19, Thanksgiving and other upcoming holidays will just not be the same with family and friends either. Please keep our Country and our Association in your thoughts and/or prayers. Pray that our voting system will become fair and honest for future elections in this country. God Bless And Restore The America That We Love!
